Penang Press Club to Hold Talent Showcase Contest on May 24

The Penang Press Club is organising a talent showcase competition on May 24, 2025, at the Penang Hui Yin Seh Buddhist Society — its first such event since 2019. Open to press members and their immediate families, the contest welcomes a range of performances including singing, dancing, instrumental acts, and group performances. A total prize pool of RM5,000 is up for grabs, with awards spanning top placements, consolation prizes, and special categories for Most Popular Performance and Best Costume. The event is proudly sponsored by Stark Development Sdn Bhd, which co-supports the initiative as a platform for media professionals to engage more meaningfully with the community.
